Caitlin - Paralegal

Caitlin is the paralegal at Cain Injury Law where she draws on her years of experience as a journalist to communicate with clients and providers with the utmost care and compassion. As our paralegal, Caitlin uses her interviewing skills to facilitate intakes of potential new clients while handling day-to-day communications with clients, insurance and providers, requesting medical records and documents, drafting and filing pleadings for lawsuits as well as tackling anything else each day may bring.

Caitlin graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and minors in human services and criminal justice. These degrees and the courses within them taught Caitlin invaluable communication skills, all aspects of the criminal justice system and how to discuss difficult subjects with others, which she uses all of daily at Cain Injury Law.

Caitlin grew up with a grandfather who was a Georgia Bureau of Investigations Special Agent who piqued her interest in the criminal justice system and legal field early on. With inspiration and help from her grandfather, Caitlin referred back to these interests throughout her journalism career as a news reporter and news editor where she oftentimes covered court filings, trials, arrests and public safety stories.

Caitlin previously worked as the Campus News Reporter and News Editor at The Red & Black, Crime & Courts Reporter for The Oglethorpe Echo and News Reporter for The Oconee Enterprise.

When Caitlin isn’t busy being a paralegal, she enjoys taking walks with her dog, spending time with her friends and family, cheering on the University of Georgia’s football team (Go Dawgs!), going to concerts and searching around antique stores. While Caitlin loved journalism, she felt called to use her skills in new ways and is so grateful to be the paralegal at Cain Injury Law. Caitlin views each days she gets to assist Attorney Clayton Cain in bringing clients justice as a gift and enjoys learning something new every day.
