Laura Beth - Law Clerk
Laura Beth is the law clerk for our firm. In this role, she assists our attorney with legal research, reviewing documents, communicating with clients, and everything in between. Her goal is to ensure each of our clients receive the utmost care and compassion that they deserve.
Laura Beth has a passion for sports law and complex contract negotiations. This passion stems from her undergraduate years at the University of Alabama, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Sports Management. During her tenure in Tuscaloosa, she completed a senior thesis titled, “Concussion Protocols in Professional Sports,” and was a member of the recruiting team for the Crimson Tide. Additionally, Laura Beth has experience working as a baseball scouting intern for Perfect Game USA where she assessed prospective athletes for the Atlanta Braves organization.
Currently, Laura Beth is completing her second year at Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law, in Birmingham, Alabama. She will graduate with her Juris Doctorate in May 2026 and is seeking to be admitted to both the Alabama and Georgia Bar Associations. When she is not busy with her studies or clients’ needs, Laura Beth also serves as a Cumberland Law Ambassador and Vice President of Sports for the Sports and Entertainment Law Society.
Outside of the legal field, Laura Beth loves cooking, spending time with family and friends, playing golf, and traveling. On Saturdays in the fall, you can always find her in the stands or glued to a television, cheering on her beloved Crimson Tide.
Laura Beth loves the unique obstacles that each case presents. She enjoys using her creativity to find new ways to approach a legal issue and is never afraid of a challenge. Her ambitious and high-energy personality have allowed her to thrive in the legal environment, and she looks forward to furthering her legal career with our firm.
